Volunteering within the framework of the European Voluntary Humanitarian Aid Corps (volunteering in the field of humanitarian aid) takes place in third countries where humanitarian aid operations are taking place. This action gives young people between the ages of 18 and 35 the opportunity to contribute to society through short -or long- term volunteer activities aimed at improving the living conditions of people in need. These projects must be carried out in accordance with the humanitarian aid principles of humanity, neutrality, impartiality and independence, as well as the “do no harm” principle.

We are looking for young people between 18 and 35 years old to do humanitarian volunteering in 2024-2025, especially in 4 areas: communication, project formulation, gender, and administration and finance.

You must be legally resident in an EU member state or in another country associated to the program and be registered in the European Solidarity Corps Portal. Once you have registered on this portal, in your profile, you must click on the option “I want to be a humanitarian volunteer” and complete the online training of the EU Academy. After the online training, you will have to complete a face-to-face training and… you will be ready for deployment! It is very easy and you will learn a lot!
